Join us for a fascinating and entertaining evening with renowned Art Historian and BBC presenter Andrew Graham-Dixon when he will share further insights in to his popular TV series’ The Royal Collection and Rome Unpacked.

Andrew is one of the leading art critics and presenters of arts television in the English-speaking world and has presented numerous landmark series on art for the BBC, including the acclaimed A History of British ArtRenaissance and Art of Eternity, as well as numerous individual documentaries on art and artists.

The focus of this lecture will be further insights in to the recent, highly acclaimed four-part BBC series, Art, Power & Passion: The Story of the Royal Collection which Andrew wrote and presented and which was the first time in 40 years the story of the Royal Collection had been told so extensively on television.   Andrew will also talk more about his other recent BBC series, Rome Unpacked, made in conjunction with his friend and chef Giorgio Locatelli.

The Royal Collection is the largest private art collection in the world, with more than one million objects spread amongst 13 occupied and historic residences in the United Kingdom.   With items ranging from Faberge Eggs to Holbein drawings, there is something for art enthusiasts and specialists alike to appreciate and Andrew’s lecture will provide an entertaining and informative glimpse of some of the highlights.
