9th September 2018

A touring exhibition featuring the winners of the prestigious British Life Photography Awards will be at The Garden Rooms from 28th July until 9th September. The exhibition will showcase the award winners, commended images and other selected photographs by professionals from across the UK.

Documenting daily life has been a tradition for over a century, so just like the great documentary photographers of the past and present, the awards encourage photographers to elevate the commonplace and familiar into something compelling or fascinating through the craft, creativity and discipline of photography.

Sponsored by The Royal Photographic Society, Sony and Country Life,  the awards comprise ten separate categories including street life, rural life, portraiture and documentary feature, the awards are a unique visual celebration of British life, in all its richness and diversity, creating an enduring visual record of the spirit and essence of our nation.  The exhibition is free to enter and open daily.  Opening times
