Opening Talk on Wensleydale Sheep: A Handcrafted History

A welcome talk on Wensleydale sheep will be given by Dr Graham Steventon of the Wensleydale Longwool Sheep Breeders' Association to open the exhibition, accompanied by Jodi Shadforth, Association Secretary and exhibition organiser.

Having bred Wensleydales since 1988, Graham will talk about the breed in modern times in the context of a long history dating back to the mid-nineteenth century, and Jodi will bring some of her sheep along for people to meet.
