Talk: A Clowder of Ceramic Cats

Tennants' 20th Century Design Specialist Diane Sinnott, and Ceramics Specialist Jody Beighton introduce the Dr Eileen Cobb Collection ahead of its sale at auction.

Dr Eileen Cobb had a special interest in both Chinese porcelain and cats and put together an extraordinary collection of ceramic cats from the 17th century to the 20th century. The collection will be sold in the 20th Century Design Sale on 1st March, the Asian Art Sale on 14th March, and the Spring Fine Sale on 15th March.

Diane and Jody will look at the materials, makers and styles of cats that make up this unique collection.
