Exhibitions
In addition to displaying our own auction items we are able to host loan exhibitions, bringing highlights from The Bowes Museum and other institutions to the Dales. Moreover, we are able to stage educational exhibitions exploring some of the art and antiques that pass through our salerooms in greater detail.
Selling exhibitions of local, contemporary art on the Upper Gallery allows us the opportunity to promote local talented artists working in the region. To complement our displays and exhibitions, we also hold arts and crafts workshops and lectures from visiting speakers.
Galleries
The Garden Rooms at Tennants is a hub for arts and culture in the Yorkshire Dales. Set over two floors our galleries were built to expand and complement our thriving auction centre: with ever-changing displays of highlights from the saleroom and stand-alone exhibitions, there is always something new to see.
